About Me:
I am passionate about helping others identify their strengths, develop deeper and greater self-awareness, and become empowered to align their decisions with their goals for themselves and their lives.
I earned my Master’s in Psychology from Brandman University where I worked with elementary aged children in the school setting for one year. For the past year and a half, I have worked with children, teens, and their families as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist for the William S. Hart Union High School District.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic orientation can be described as Humanistic: upholding the belief every individual is unique, capable of realizing their fullest potential, and overcoming life’s challenges. I assist clients in recognizing their strengths and abilities, increasing their belief in themselves, and developing healthy coping skills to respond to life’s challenges and struggles. I incorporate an array of interventions tailored to fit the client’s needs including art, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness.
