“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.” – Sigmund Freud
Hello, and thank you for being here.
My name is Edna Wosoughian, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’ve dedicated my career to walking alongside individuals, couples, children, teens, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional struggles.
I began my work in 2008, rooted in community mental health services, supporting families in foster care, kinship care, and adoption. My professional experience has extended into schools and various social service settings, where I’ve had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life. These diverse environments have shaped my approach and strengthened my skills in individual, child, family, and couples therapy.
I’m passionate about creating a space that is compassionate, client-centered, and culturally attuned. Whether you’re navigating interpersonal conflict, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, foster or adoption transitions, or simply working through life’s changes, I strive to meet you where you are—with empathy and respect.
My approach is integrative and flexible. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Attachment-Based approaches, Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that therapy should feel collaborative and empowering. I see you as the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in accessing your inner wisdom and strength.
I am fluent in Armenian and Farsi and offer therapy in all three languages—bringing cultural sensitivity and understanding to my work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for each client’s story. I believe healing happens in relationships and that therapy is a joint venture where we work together to create meaningful growth and lasting change
