Welcome

You made it here—and I’m glad you did. Reaching out for therapy can take courage, especially when life feels stuck, overwhelming, or simply different from what you hoped it would be. After losing my two-and-a-half-year-old daughter to leukemia, I came to know grief not simply as a clinical concept, but as something that can fundamentally change a person's life. I support clients experiencing grief, long-term bereavement, and prolonged grief with both clinical understanding and genuine compassion. My goal is to offer a supportive, genuine space where we can make sense of what’s happening, identify what needs to change, and figure out what comes next.
I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with seven years of clinical experience. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and substance use. As a dual-diagnosis specialist, I’m particularly interested in the connection between mental health and addiction and how each can affect the other.
A Little About Me
Outside of therapy, I’m an award-winning documentary filmmaker and lifelong creative. I’m an avid record collector, and my home is shared with three wonderfully chaotic, stinky dogs. I value creativity, humor, connection, recovery, and the idea that even when life takes an unexpected turn, there is still an opportunity to figure out what comes next.
If you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you while you work through a difficult chapter, change an old pattern, strengthen a relationship, or simply find your direction again, I’d be honored to be part of that process.
My Approach

My work is grounded primarily in Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to the person sitting across from me. Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing healthier ways to respond to difficult thoughts, emotions, relationships, and circumstances.
I also bring a unique perspective to therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years in the entertainment industry as a documentary filmmaker, writer, and graphic artist. That experience continues to shape how I understand creativity, identity, relationships, purpose, and the many different directions life can take.
Recovery is another important part of my perspective. I am actively involved in Sobriety-Based Mutual Aid and the 12-Step Model and believe deeply in the possibility of meaningful, long-term recovery. I bring both professional training and personal experience to my work with people navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
