Hello there! My name is Rosa Ramirez, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
 
As a therapist, I offer a welcoming space that is empathetic, safe and supportive for you to communicate the challenges that you are facing. I am passionate about helping others explore beyond an intellectual meaning of issues that arise throughout life. Together we can discover ways for you to experience a deeper sense of connection, freedom and happiness.
 
I have gained the opportunity of working with a wide range of populations in various types of treatment settings such as Hospitals, Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center, Mental Health, Substance Use and Forensics; specializing in mental health crisis stabilization, severe mental illness, co-occurring mental health, substance use and physical disorders. I work closely with clients and families to assist in helping them understand and navigate through receiving mental health treatment and working toward the solution of problems that interfere with their social functioning. 
 
I use a Holistic approach, effective interventions and evidenced based practices. I implement different treatment modalities such as Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory and Trauma Focused, and tailor them to a person’s unique situation and individual goals.
