About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with eight years of experience working with a range of individuals, from infants to older adults. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2007. In 2013, I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology – Counseling Specialization from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I worked in community mental health with underserved populations for several years until I became licensed in 2019 and ventured into private practice.
Therapeutic Approach
I work integratively, combining a Client-Centered approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused interventions. With each client, I strive to make the therapeutic experience collaborative and tailored to how the client works best, such as incorporating art or play. However the approach, I want the client to feel comfortable and open to expression and exploration.
